give the car to someone who knows how to drive a stick?

seriously. stock for clutches are among the easiest. for racing, rev to about 2 grand, dump the clutch, and mash the gas.

this is dumb....if you cant clutch correctly you cant race. You need to feel the pedals, get used to them a bit and you'll get it.

Wow, you guys are mean! I'm kinda surprised to see all these "learn how to drive!" posts in response. Granted, the OP sounds young with the overly-brief post with bad spelling, but it's not like they are hostile.

Anyway, the OP has several mods. The drive-by-wire throttle is already calibrated for a throttle hesitation at the factory (boo!), and you all know how sensitive Spanish Oak is to mods. He doesn't say what "chip" he's using, but I bet it's a canned tune for his Predator, SCT etc. Probably one from Steeda for his CAI that doesn't take into account the other mods. I dunno, I'm just shooting in the dark here, the poster needs to be more specific and provide more info, but it could certainly be that the Throttle programming, or one of several subsystems affected by his mod(s), are out of whack.

Good post, this one is much more helpful than the "learn to drive" posts, lol. This is my first car with a manual transmission (since this is the first car I have actually bought myself and had a say in what it was equipped with) and I had problems launching at first as well. I have about the same mods as the OP has and I found the problem to mainly be the throttle hesitation. I still am not great at launching as it takes time, but after getting my car tuned (in person, not just the canned tune) it made a huge difference. If you are just using the canned tune cervini, then I would recommend getting your car tuned if you have the money to do it. A little more practice doesn't hurt either, good luck .

I smoked the tires pulling out of the dealership at deliver, bone stock. u are doing something wrong. I say if 2K is not braking them lose, then bring it up to 4K and work you way to lower rpm once u figure it out. And don't bother with the traction control on, gonna be much harder. turn it off, bring it up to 3-4K and dump the clutch, if it does not brake lose either return the car or buy a honda. i going to go do a donut in the parking lot, see u later.

if u are inexperienced it may be a little hard to get it to break under 2K with the drive by wire
