problem with 4r70w

So I decieded to do a 4r70w swap in my girls 94gt. So I find a nice 18k mile 2001 4r for less than $200. Happy camper. Also picked up a 2600 rpm edge stall and 3.73 gears. Everything is good till I Pull the aode out take off the tailshaft housing only to find oout it doesn't have the gear threads on tailshaft. Can I swap in my aode tailshaft? Would it just be easier to swap the whole gearset into aode? I'm kinda stuck and don't know what direction to go in? Help. I don't really post here alot but do a whole lot of reading. Apparently not enough reading. lol

what do u plan on doing to change the pcm settings for the new gear ratios in the 4r70w?

I have a moates chip, burner, and adapter. just going to run some free software. I have a local guy who is going to set me up. I tune my wrx and turbo civic myself so I figure I can pick up on the ford stuff. As for my trans, can I swap output shafts?
