This is driving me nuts , sincei boughtMustang back in 2003 i always have problem with stoping from 90mph+ , i mean stoping from any speed above 90mph to 0 , i changed pads who know how many times, flush fluid 2 times ,installed 99+ PBR front calipers and still have problem , i never changed disc, and problem may be there but ther areen't worn out and ther are straight
Car stops like champ from lets say 60-0 but if i hit breaks on high speed it just hear front discs and it just keep going even with me pressed breake pedal all way to flor

What the heck is wrong

BTW Master cylinder doesn't leak and breake booster holding good vaccum

Would it be fair to say that it feels like brake fade?

Finding a means to cool the brakes can help. And if you havent even turned the rotors, I'd do it. They glaze up (even if smooth to the touch) and the glaze can make a noticable difference in braking performance. I don't think this is any sort of a fix, but if you have the rotors off, it might not be a bad thing to do.

Some of the AutoX guys will be able to really help you narrow down the braking performance.

:OT: Did you get the cooling system figured out?

Good luck Ernan.

Get Hawk pads. Don't get drilled rotors, they will crack. Slotted are mostly okay. Regular Brembo rotors are fine unless you are doing autocross. Don't buy cheapo rotors.
