problem with my a/c

hey guys ive tried a search but i have a problem with my a/c recently. basically when ever im idle sitting somewhere after a minute or two the compressor starts to make a really loud screeching noise. then when i turn the a/c it turns off. then if i start driving and turn it back on then it starts to blow cold. it blows warm when it starts to make that loud screeching noise. i have a 93 4 cylinder coupe. thanks, mark. 132xxx miles

Sounds like you need a new clutch for the compressor.
