I just had an auburn differential put in my 01 GT. I now have a problem with my brakes, i think its my ABS. I dont have a problem stopping. But as I am come to a stop I can hear the ABS ingage and feel the brake pedal pulse. The shop checked the ABS sensor and checked for any trouble codes and found no problems. Its more annoying than a serious problem. Any Ideas???

Are the ABS rings properly installed and lined-up?

Are you able to describe the ABS ring alignment? How do you check them or know if they are out of alignment?

The ABS ring looks like a cogged ring, that runs on the around the axle. To be honest with you I'm not sure it can be out of alignment, but something may be wrong with it.

I took it to Ford and they said that the tabs that hold the sensors in were broken and the sensors had backed themselfs out. They pushed the old ones in until they could order new ones and they will replace them both.
