Dang i didn't know my rpms/tach are this much off, before i got Autometer Phantom tach i was shifting by stock tach, and i had problem with shifting pass 6000 rpms because stock one (or neddle) have hard time pass 6000 mark and YES i have adjust rev limit on Tweecer 6300 on / 6200 off
So i was hitting rev limit all the time on track because i didn'r know where am I (shift points are 6200) so i decide to buy aftermarket 5" tach with shift light and because i already have two Phantom meters i bought Phantom one #5899
I have installed a few days ago and i adjust shift light on 6200 and tested on street a few times BUT i find that aftermarket tach goes to 6000 rpms when TwEECer read 6300 and i hit rev limit , i have datalog every time and every time i was hitting 6300 (at leest thats what tweecer record)

So something is off, why i hitting rev limit at 6300 on TwEECer when i'm 6000 on Autometer tach

BTW Tach i bought is brand new so there is no chances that tach is broken

I'm not really an expert, but how did you hook up the tach? Where are you getting your tach signal from?

Ernie,
1. Double check all the grounds.
2. Hook a Dwell Tach up and check the reading it give against with the stock and autometer says. Also the Dwell Tach can be used to trouble shoot your ignition.

I hope this helps, John
