Problem

My daughter bought a 93 LX 5.0 and last weekend we replaced the Rack&pinion and Struts, yesterday we replaced the rear shocks and did a brake job, I wanted to change the rear end oil but could not find a fill hole. Did I just miss it?

the fill hole is in the front of the rear differential. near where the drive shaft connects to the differential. on the top/drivers side.

Ur gonna need a big allen wrench...good luck gettin it out...u can get a cover with a fill and drain plug ...makes it alot easier

i think you can use a long 3/8 exstension to get in there just soak it good with some wd-40.

You want to pull that pumpkin cover off, contact clean all the settlement in the axle housing. If you just drain it, that will be picked up with the new oil tumbling when warmed; you are wearing your rear end out with new oil is think like that.... Forget the easy drain cover, IMO.
