Ok so I'm a new member and this is my first post so if this is the wrong place I'm sorry.

I own a stock 05 GT and depending on what gas station I go too I have trouble at the pumps. It seems the new the pumps the more often I have problems. The problem I'm experiencing is the pump will shut off long before the tank is full. Is this a common occurrence or am I the only one? If not how do I fix this?

It is a common problem, and there are numerous posts about it here. The split tank and venting our cars have cause the pump to quit early, not on all, just on some. However, you can slow down the flow and likely get the tank full without incident.

Turning the nozzle helps, as does slowing the pump down. If you're really worried about it, there is a fix for it, but if you're out of warranty, I believe you'll have to pay to get it fixed at the dealer.

Looks like you'll need a new gas tank. Not sure what that'll run out of warranty.
