I have been having problems with my car cutting out or miss firing. I ran a code reader and it gave me a pip fault so I replaced the dizzy with a reman. unit from NAPA. It worked for a day then it would not start, just cranked and cranked not spark at the coil. I had the coil and modual checked and they were fine. I then replaced the dizzy with another reman. unit and again it worked for a day the same thing no spark to the coil. Again I tryed another dizzy. It ran good for about 10 miles they started bucking and cutting out with the engine check light coming on.
I ran the car again to warm it up for the code checks and the engine check light did not come on this time. I ran a check for codes this time and I got a code 157 MAF low voltage. Everything else passed (except for a code 213 spout conn error I forgot to replace it when timing the car). So I checked the MAF with a meter and it did have a very weak voltage.
A new MAF is like $200
Am I on the right track with replacing the MAF.
