I've wanted an offroad h pipe for years now. But one hellova deal came along for a Prochamber, and everyone seems to think they are the best sounding midpipe with Flows, so I just couldn't pass it up. I can't wait to get this and get it on!

One quick question. I've heard something about the Mac passenger side gasket not being of the best quality and that it's better just to get an oem replacement. Is this true? If so, what's the part number/part name of that gasket?

Thanks!!

-Will

Will do. I hope it's here by this upcoming weekend, but I got my doubts. Definitely by 2 weekends from now.

I agree this mid pipe sounded really good in my GT, i only had one problem with it the chamber it self would hit on every driveway or speed bump!!! My car is lowered about 2 inches so it could be just my vehicle. Great sounding pipe though I loved it!!

I have the MAC longtube headers flowing into an offroad MAC prochamber going into Flowmaster 40 axleback. You will LOVE the prochamber. It's a nice mix between the H and X pipe, and it is dyno proven to have the best gains of the mid pipes. I hope you enjoy it (awesome noise kicks at at 2700 RPM, be prepared).

Yes, it is quieter than an O/R H.

That's another reason I wanted to try it out. My granddad has an offroad H and Flowmaster 40s on his 01 GT, and it is LOUD, honestly a little too loud for me for daily driving. I heard that the Prochamber is a little quieter, and I found this one for cheaper than a new H pipe, so I figured I'd give it a try.

This gives me an idea. When I make a video of it, I'll make one of my granddad's 01 as well. Then people can hear the exact difference between a Prochamber and an H pipe with Flows.

Goshhhhh. I hope it gets here this weekend! I can't wait!

-Will

Oh, Stark, do you have any videos of your set up? I bet it sounds good w/ the long tubes!

I had a prochamber, got rid of it after 5 months. Couldn't stand the raspyness.

Do you have a mustang shop in your area? If so and they have an in-house dyno I'm sure they'll tell you all about it. Out of the two tuners in 2 different cities that I've used, both recommended the Prochamber over anything else.

I started with a prochamber and switched to an x. Both o/r with the same mods and the x seemed to have more pull in the upper rpms than the prochamber. Felt the same in the rest of the powerband.

Show me proof. I've never seen it in the 7 years I've owned a modular. If there were any truth to it I would be using one a long time ago.
