I run Sportlines with a 2 inch drop, one of my cats only has 4.5 inches of clearance. So I would say its very possible to scrap. I'm careful to avoid any spots a I my scrap. There some place I just dont go.

I had a 98 gt and had eibach progressive rate springs, it droppedthe car 2 inches all around , and my car dragged over every speed bump, my h pipe was all dented up, and that from driving over them very carefully, my new gt is still stock height and i dont have any problems with speed bumps with aftermarket mid pipe and catback. If your car is lowered you will just have to avoid speed bumps or drive over the very slowly..Jayson

Its normal. The chamber sits low, but check for leaks and to make sure the nuts on the manifold bolts are still tight. Mine came loose on the driver's side and I developed a leak.

loosen up the bolts going to the headers and get a floor jack and jack the mid pipe up a little then tighten it back up. It worked great for me I have sportlines and I hardly ever scrape after I did that

Perch your car on top of the KFC speed bump and say to them, "hey gimme some help pushing my car off your goddamn speed bump!" just for ****s and giggles.

I used to scrape my catted bassani x all the time. That sound is horrible. Sometimes you just can't avoid it.
