thats probably the 9psi kit. Pretty decent numbers, right where expected with 9psi of boost.

Yeah, I read the article too. I liked the rwhp numbers, but was disappointed in the end time slip. I think they said something about they probably could get those end times down quite a bit though, but don't know what the variables were.

Was that time with the stock rear end components? If so, with a TLOK, rear sway bar...the off the line performance might get better and get the car in the low 13's.

Scrimg should be happy his car is faster than one in a mag on a procharger!

I was thinking the same thing ... and if the high 13's is the best they can get, I'd say that $4K could be better spent elsewhere

Yea, 600 bucks on a Zex package with some other mods will get you in the high 13's too.

still 60% increase in power, and only 1 second and 7mph faster than my car with just a tune?

I like the turbo kit from powerhouse along with their supporting mods, that car is amazing

I was NOT going to point that out! LOL! I mean I was going to give them the benefit of the doubt since it was something like 85 degrees when they ran... but still

The article does go on to say that "we have no doubt the V-6 Mustang with ProCharger's blower will easily cover the quarter-mile in 13.5 seconds at 101-102 mph, provided weather conditions are better thant the heat card we were dealt, and certainly if the car is equipped with a free-flowing dual exhaust."

They also say "At this point, we wished our test Stang had been equipped with a five-speed transmission, because it was clear that the mph figures for the blown version and the all-motor V-6 passes were hindered by the AOD and the factory shift references in the PCM (transmission shift adjustments were not made with the Predator for this test).

I don't know why they didn't properly tune the automatic tranny if the system comes with a predator though as I think it might have made a difference in the ET.

I love my automatic! Guess they should have tuned with an X-Cal2! LOL! I've actually seen a lot of GT guys with the predators complaining about how poor the diablo tune for the automatic is...
