procharger question???

procharger is awesome. i will be getting a d1sc for my motor in a year or two with the big pulley for like 8 lb of boost. then when that block go boom, i will pulley it for 20 or so psi on a 331/347. i cant wait :hail2:

I was leaning towards getting a P-1SC last yr but opted for the Paxton Novi 2000 insted. Prochargers are great blowers though, dont have to tap the oil pan but you will have to move the battery to the trunk.

The fit on the 94-95 cars isn'y bad but the head unit fits really close to the inner fender and the air filter keep smashed up between the A/C lines and intake, wish that was better.

There isn't any roon to take it 90 into the inner fender and a custom inlet going down towards the ground would be tight, near impossible on a SN car.

One thing I have done for some customers (the mechanically inclined or guys who don't want to remove the headunit) since the drain is right on the bottom of a P1SC (and it is very hard to get to to drain properly and contain it) is drill a hole up under the fitting through the frame and buttom weld a piece of tubing in. Then they do not have to remove the head unit and car just use a extention and socket to get at the drain.

I've always been very happy with the performance of the ATI's...that's why I have a F1R myself :D

but i just like the idea of the intercooler for our cars and since no one else makes one. i was wondern what you guys thought of em.

Dont get one just b/c of the intercooler. A centri blower ( Paxton/Vortech) w/ a methanol/water injection kit is alot more effective then a set up w/ an intercooler and cheaper.
