first off love the forum guy!
I have a 03 mustang gt vert 4.62 v
I only have 21k miles I have added the following so far
Bbk cold air intake
Bbk 78 mm tb
Steeda race pulleys
Eibach pro kit
Trans has been beefed up and has a 2800-3k stall in it
Nitto tires 315/35/17 on fr500 rims
Questions here
I pretty much know i have to go with a turbo or a cent type supercharger
Due to my loose converter&gears, the car gets out of the hole real good so I
Adding the ProCharger kit to it would be a great mod, with the miles and the few mods I have I'm not sure on which kit to go with either way I want the complete set up not a tuner,With the 8 psi kit can I change pulleys to up the boost on the model or is that all I should get with a stock bottom, maybe upgrade to the 3 core cooler and a Anderson pipe? I'm new to the 4.6 vie had mustangs in the past all 5.0s,i'm thinking pay the extra 400 and get the stage 2 kit and keep her @ 8 psi then I have a kit I can upgrade as needed, just looking for ideas I've been reading like crazy, and feel oprocharger has my vote over vortech and paxston,
Do you vets out the think a vortech kit @ 9 psi needs a intercooler I see so many use it with no intercooler,my local shop wouldn't touch ProCharger I think it voids his contract with vortech or something,I'm just gonna have a kit dropped shipped,I'm still looking for the best price, right now it is 4460.00 for the stage 2 system and 4220 for the ho system with 2 core, glad I found the board I'll toss some pics up tomorrow,I've taken real nice care of this 03 with only20k. IDE like to do a head job and cams just not sure how much gain it is and is it really worth it,car will always be a street car but mainly weekends,so with my mods what you guys think what system should I go with pros, cons.
Thanks in advance and glad to be here
