Anyone running one?...How are they?..Im thinking of going with one on my turbo build...I have GT40 heads im thinking of the one that looks like the edelbrock will it work..or will i have problems with it? not fitting or bolting up right...

Yea, I've heard the casting quality is really poor and they require a little clean up with a grinder or hand file. They're ugly, too. It's like a Bizzaro copy of the Edelbrock intake (Superman reference for all you nerds out there).

Why not just run an Explorer intake? They are super cheap and will flow more than enough air for those heads you're running.

EDIT: It looks like you already have a TF Track Heat intake. What's wrong with using that?

No i dont have it yet,...LOL..i was going to pull the hammer on buying it but then i thought $500 for an intake...when i know a turbo will make up the difference..I had a really nice explorer intake i sold it what a mistake....:(

if you are going turbo why arent you looking into a box style or short runner intake?
this.
Its junk, the castings are terrible, cheap chinese crap, buy a used edelbrock if you wanna save money.
This also.

And this as well.

from everything ive seen, theyre a cheap knock off, some guys will swear buy them but some guys also think CAIs are power adders. Why pay for something you have to modify just to make it function?

you get what you pay for every time...

I was told that..LOL..use a GT40 lower with a box upper ok where can i get one and how do they work im confussed about about a box upper...will i need a egr spacer to make that the same width as the stock or and other intake so i can use the inlet tubing that comes with the turbo kit?

Box uppers look clean and work great with turbo setups.

I just hope those on3 headers don't fall apart on you....

Thanks I didnt buy it yet im watching everyones on3 build and keeping on eye out on them so far they look like they have great results...How long they last well thats another story..My GT isnt a daily so i might be ok ...

fwiw I dont feel its any worse quality than the cobra intakes on the market now. They are even most likely made by the same people. Lots of guys run them and lots of guys are having great luck with them. To the OP, you seem to be jumping all over the place with your build. Rather than ask a bunch of online enthusiasts I would suggest contacting a professional builder such as Jay Allen, Buddy Rawls, or someone else of the like. For a small fee you can fill out an online form and they will tell you EXACTLY what parts to get so that your engine will perform EXACTLY as you wanted to. Takes away all the guess work and you know that you will have the optimum build your budget will allow.
