Proform shift light

Nice while it worked for the first week, then it would begin flashing at random RPM anywhere below where it was set. I'd heard of a few other people having problems with them, but took the chance and bought one because the price was good. Unless they've done some things to improve the quality from a year ago, then I would stay away personally.

Nick, I had the same problem. Really annoying at night. I replaced the coil as part of the mods I was doing and the problem went away. I had even returned it for an exchange and the new one did the same thing. How's your coil?

I bought a MSD 6al for the car and the guy at the speed shop told me to buy a Crane Fireball PS91 coil over the MSD. He said they get alot of those back.

No kidding? I'll keep that in mind when I pull the notch out for spring and replace the cap and rotor and stuff. Thanks.
