Yep there are some sweet hot rods a lot of them are just some of the local guys cars. I actually stopped by the salt flats when they were filming to see some of the cars I wish I took a camera. Was some insane speed going on there.

Apparently its not coming to the states until december, and then only in select theatres. It was originally released in new zealand.
