Progress of my 1993 GT Vert

Thats what I was thinkin, but how would the cobra look with no pipes coming out, I have dumps and was planning on keeping them.

i used to not have tail pipes on my car. it looks fine but kinda looks lacking because of the "cut outs" there for pipes. just run dummy pipes. my car is dumped but i still have tail pipes. they're there just for looks, they cut off right before they go over the axle.

Alright, I am about to change out the shocks and springs on my car, what do yall recommend? I want to lower it probably an inch or two.

What are you going to be doing with the car.. more street driving, or maybe more track time?

I was in the same dilemma. I decided that my car will be about 60% street, and 40% track. I didnt want to have to do 1 mile an hour around corners, so instead of going with a full drag suspension, i got the Eibach pro-kit which lowes the front just over an inch and the rear just under 2 inches (progressive rate)

Eibach also offers the sportline springs, but that slams the car a little farther than i wanted. My buddy put the sportline springs on his, and his car wont launch for crap at the track.

I have the stock shocks and struts for now, but eventually ill be getting adjustables at all 4 corners to even out between the street and the track.

some people will tell you that if you have the cash to get coilovers, but i personally have no experience (or the money) with those. you might want to talk to TunedIn302 about his setup, he says he loves it :nice:

Are you keeping your stock upper and lower control arms? If you decide to get lowers, i would recommend either the HPM megabite Jr's, or the steeda weight jackers. The steeda ones let you adjust your ride heigth in the back, and while the HPM's dont have that, they are double adjustable to how hard you want to launch.

Thanks for the input. I plan on driving it 80% on the street and 20% at the track. Yeah, I want to end up changing out the upper and lower control arms. I don't have the budget for the coilovers, so I won't be doing that. I was looking at the Eibach Progressive Rate Springs, so I will probably go with them. But I need to change out the struts and shocks, b/c they have about had it.
