Well, I went out and bought the "rare" barometric pressure sensor for my 89 gt. I guess I got lucky and had a part only used for a few months. Anyway, my constant c/e light is fixed, however I still can't run codes with the engine running. Instead of getting a constant ight, now I get nothing. Here are the codes that I got

koeo codes
67: I have bypassed my neutral safety switch, so this is why I have this code I am assuming. Would this stop my computer from running codes when the engine is running?

Countinous memory codes

29: Vehicle speed sensor insufficient input? I am assuming this means the sensor is shot or the sensor wire is shot. Where is this in the tranny. Is it a single wire?

41: Right side o2 sensor always lean. I havent looked under the car yet(it is dark and about 22 degrees). If memory serves me correctly I have 2 white wires, a green wire, and a black wire. Ill look in my book for this one, have a wiring diagram somewhere.

Any input would be appreciated. Thanks guys!!

Code 29 -VSS - The VSS sensor has 2 wires. Most likey the sensor is bad.

Code 41 check the O2 sensor voltage at the computer, Pin 29, Dark green/Pink wire. You should see .2-.6 volts DC swing with an analog voltmeter. Measure between pin 29 and the ground near the computer. This will check both theO2 sensor and the wiring between it and the computer. Do not use an Ohmmeter to check the O2 sensor itself, as that will damage the sensor.

so just back probe pin 29? Thanks alot! I pulled codes again just for the hell of it, now I also have
21: Ect out of range
24: Iat out of range.

I guess it is possible all of my sensors are just failing... I think they are all stock. But wierd they all go out at the same time...I will check vref and sig at these sensors to make sure everything is cool. Thanks

You hit it on the head...

VRef should be 4.75-5.25 volts DC. Possible broken wire. If it is very cold outside, the ACT & ECT will give a out of range reading.
