well what do you guys think..........this is about as far as i can go due to one bracket having to be redone....and some of the accessories being replaced etc..........will prolly start on the wiring some this weekend too........have had a little trouble with threads where they didn't seal them off so they are coated as well..........kinda a booger...hope nothing leaks........(intake only).


do you guys think it will look good...........i am getting ancy(sp?)

looks pretty good man. Are the valve covers painted ford blue?

they are powdercoated.......the thermostat housing is the same color.............as a few other misc. things might wind up being........

those are cleaned up stock heads with full port polish 1.94 and 1.60 valves.........a t-moss intake.....a b-cam with 1.7rr and a bunch of other stuff.................i am still gonna hope for slightly higher than mid 250's on power.......

it is all powdercoated...............my friend has a set of AFR 165 he's not gonna need anymore when he puts his 408 in his car........so i have already put a down payment on them.......when they come off they are mine..........I have bought a block and some other goodies to start on a new motor.......so this time i can drive the car while the motor goes together........I am however gonna see what this thing is gonna have in it....:big grin:

BTW......anyone who takes stuff to get it coated........MAKE SURE THEY COVER ALL THREADS................

cool man thanks........everyones positive comments is really making me start to feel this is worthwhile along with how it looked when i pushed it out in the sun earlier..........

Looks damn good! You know I'm a big fan of powdercoating, so I LOVE it. I've been tossing the idea around of polishing my upper intake and powdercoating the lower... this makes me want to do it even more.

Killer............teh pics of the upper don't do it justice........the light wasn't right..........when sitting in the sun it looks polished.........I love it.....really really shiny..........one of my buddies stopped by and he saw all the stuff that was coated for the first time...and saw how i was trying to hide, tuck, and shorten wires and unneccessary hoses..........and he said......what you going for a show car engine bay.......i said just clean.....


but anyway......thanks for the compliments.............and i finally feel like all the hard work is paying off.

looks great! i know the intake (maf to t/b) is probably going to be taken off and put back on at least once before you are done, but i noticed you are missing a couple of o-clamps there ...

did you rebuild the bottom end too?

nah didn't rebuild it...............the person who had the car before me did something.........not sure what becaus the pistons look like factory ones. Do they make pistons .030 over that look exactly like stock ones
