Got some more work done to the 88's engine bay. I also bought a bunch of stuff. I got a T-5 rebuild kit with the gears that broke in my Motorsport T-5 and a rear rebuild kit with a nice Trick Flow girdle. I also got my new wheels, I got the SC wheels in black with the motorsport rivets. I love em. They are the 17x8's for the front and 17x9's for the rear. The tires are 255/40's in the front and 275/40's. Too bad I cant put them on the car yet In due time. Here's some pics of the bay and the new goodies.

Put a coat of Duraglass on the welded areas for strength

My only question is when do you want to start working on my engine bay?

Looks good, can't wait to see the final product.

lol, when I finish my car completely and when you have 2 grand to give me for labor. I have about 27 hours of work in it so far. Im really happy with how its going. Once I finish the engine bay I can start wiring up the car and swapping the fuel lines and drivetrain from my 89 into this car. Also, I can only do body work in the shop when my boss is there so that slows progress alot. So when the engine bay is painted I can work on the car outside and then progress will go alot faster. I'm hoping to have the car running by mid summer but Im just takin it one step at a time and doing it right so Im not kicking myself in the ass after its all done.

When my wheels came today I nearly creamed my pants lol I had 03 Cobra style wheels that I really really liked but they had some rash and since Im starting over with the car I figured these wheels would be nice for a change and look more aggresive, and not have nasty rash all over them. Im thinkin they will go really well with my silver and black two tone scheme.

siiiick! didnt know you ordered the rims, but they are gonna look sweet!. and the engine bay looks nice as hell. you know, we could always put the rims on my car that could give you some idea of what there gonna look like

and.....take some time on those quarter windows so i can get my car ready lol. anyways its gonna look sick when your car is done.

Its not going to be done for a while, I have alot to do but minimal time to work on it. I wish I had my own garage, if that was the case I would be workin on it everyday.

I'd be workin on it way more than a couple hours a week like I am now. I was only able to put like 3 hours of work on it today and thats it. oh well, slowly but surely I guess.
