Damn, 100K miles?! I didn't know that, that's alot of miles. I'm pretty sure you're supposed to rebuild the roots type blowers around 100K.

I doubt my engine will last that long, lol.

This is exactly correct, every engine oil change will provide fresh oil for the blower. There are positives and negatives to both directions but the self contained units really rule the market. This type of install is a little more hardcore than most do it your self installers want to get into. It should also make a heck of a lot more HP than other smaller blowers too though... I have been know to take things to extremes, and this happens to be one of them.

Should make some pulls tomorrow. The boostapump and injectors were installed today. SCT also changed to licensing agreement for the 2015 to separate it form every other 87-2014 which was another small obstacle to overcome. With all of the software sorted out tomorrow will be dyno day

I can't really tell from the images; is that air filter shielded from engine bay heat?

The air filter was just mocked up there and is currently unshielded. Vortech has an air box that is being injection molded now and I should have in the coming weeks. The factory air box could have been used but extensive modification to the air inlet would have been required and there is no current K&N style air filter for the factory box. This is the first JT trim on a 2015 so it's a learning process for everyone involved. We will likely even dyno the car with the air filter removed to see how much restriction that setup provides.

@madspeed cool your jets... I have work type things to do before we play The car is strapped to the dyno and a program is loaded in the computer but dyno pulls won't happen until after the shop closes around 6:00. An audience is the last thing we need in the shop when tuning on a new platform
