Project completed

I finally took the time today to work on my heater hose elimination project. I never cared for the look of the heater hoses, even when they are run as carefully as possible. I thought I might be able to get rid of most of them using some tubing and pre-formed hose from more current vehicles. I purchased some stainless steel tubing and a selection of hoses and went to work today.

Success, take a look at my Car Domain web page (6) for some photos.

And for those of you thinking of some sound-deadening, take a look at page 5 and see how my quiet car application came out. Neat stuff, it really makes a huge difference.

Very very cool... I've been planning on doing the same sort of thing, just using the piping used on 5.0 EFI cars instead. You're slick stainless stuff sure does look prettier though. :nice:

I looked at using that part, it just didn't look good enough, to much adapting IMO. I mocked mine up using copper tubing, this way I would make no mistakes cutting the stainless. I bought the tubing from McMaster Carr, $26.80 for the 3' length I needed, I only have about 2" leftover.
