hi, i am looking for a mustang project and i've been reading up on the '94-95 mustangs. I was wondering how mod-able they are (like how extensivley you can mod them) because i heard that the computers on them limit what you can do to the car and the engine.

Welcome, there are many facts.

1) Depends On how big your wallet is .
2) The computer has limits but you can get it tuned to fix those limit, Via Tweecer, PMS,or custom chip, But every car has to be tuned.
3) Also since it has a pushrod 302 parts will be cheaper , unlike a mod motor.
Hope This Helps.

Welcome to 94-95 :SNSign:

We got folk here that are friendly and knowledgeable

Here is a tip or two on how you can get more helpful replies

Build a sig with your current mods as it helps those who reply

When you ask Q's .......
Strive to stay away from generic terms
and
Try to be kinda specific or detailed

Before I answer peeps Q's... I wonder about things such as:

Is your car a dd or week end toy only

What are your final power plans or desires for the car

just bolt ons
h/c/i
NA or Forced

What is your budget plan for the car

one big project
a little at a time

Without specifics ... I usually have to start my reply to
Q like that with ... It depends upon if you wanna do this or that

Now ... about your concerns

In this Q, it looks like you wanna do more than bolt ons
but
Have concerns about the pcm

As said above ... the pcm can be made to comply to your wishes

We got tons of folk here in the stock block NA category who are
at a power level of 250 to 300 rwhp.

Some of em have a tune and some don't

We got power adder combos at 3,4 & 500 rwhp levels
Now ... Most of them boys ... they got a tune

Again ... Welcome

I wanna know more about this ... as you call it ... "project"

Grady

Well I'm planning to make this a daily driver. My plan is to build it a little bit a time. I'm still looking for a good one to pick up though. I want to put a cobra body kit on it just because i like the cobra look better. When i have some time after i buy 1 I'm gunna rebuild the whole motor with a stronger bottom end and hopefully a supercharger. As far as the budget goes I'm probably looking at paying around $5000-$7500 (Canadian) for the car, as for the mods, around $15,000 CAN. The $15,000 in mods will cover the engine, susupension, body, and the other little things. So in the end i've invested around $25,000 for a hopefully strong, sweet, and powerful ride. But all of this money will be invested over 2-3 years till the build is done. Please tell me if i am in the right direction and some tips and opinions would be greatly appreciated.
