Got alot done last night but forgot my camera.....

Installed the pistons and then put the heads on and torqued them down. Here in a little while im going to get the rest of the stuff i need to finish....not much...enough to fill a post it note!...gunna work on it tonight....ill post pics later!

Awesome stuff man, will make for a respectibly fun and reliable car no doubt!!! Glad to see you doin as much as you can yourself, it makes it that much better!

It was $850 all together...idk how much for just doing the block......all of that included boring and honing the block, cleaning up the heads and putting the valve springs on for me, cleaning up my valve covers, oil pan and the lower intake.....umm...cleaning the front plate and removing 2 broken bolts....polishing the journals on the crank....and also i got pistons, lifters, timing chain, all my bearings and a gasket set from them....





got a little bit done tonight and have pics from last night....loading them on the computer now.....STAY TUNED....pics and stuff to come!

Ok....the past three days ive been working on it but have been to tired to get on and post pics..but im ready now.....

Tuesday: Pistons installed and torqued down. CamShaft, Timing Chain and gears, and Lifters installed. Then the heads, pushrods and rockers......then i called it a night

Wednesday: Sanded and painted my valve covers. Sandblasted lower intake.

Today: Not S**T...haha

Valve Covers...Left nothing..Right sanded down


Top painted, bottom nothing


Sandblasting the lower intake...


Left blasted, right side untouched....


Fully sandblasted and cleaned






thats all for right now hope to do some more work tomorrow...maybe put the lower intake on and some other stuff....i have everything i need to finish except the 2 hoses that come off of the water pump and the hose for the pcv

Alright....here with an update!


Yesterday I got the engine and transmission in and bolted down...

After that the driveshaft went in, the starter, fuel rails, headers, and most of my electrical connections.

Today I'm going to try and get the rest of the exhuast bolted up and most of the acssesory drive stuff on the front. If I work on it I might have it running tonight!

I'll take my camera and have some pics and an update tonight.
