PS Drop Bracket install questions.

Hey guys my headers finally got here today and i am dying to put them on. I am trying to figure out how this friggin bracket works. I don't know if its attatches to the existing bracket or do i need to remove it??? Any help and knowledge that can be shed on the subject will be greatly appreciated.

you remove the old one and put this one in its place. most people weld it on since some have had those bolts come loose.
