I walked into the shop where I get some work done and saw my old damaged carbon fiber DS and then it hit me. I promised that to someone a long time ago. Would that someone please let me know who you are, I forgot sorry.
If you still want it our agreement still stands.

It probably just shattered. Carbon fiber cannot handle repetitive stress and is a very poor choice for a driveshaft material.

It gave way shortly after the KB

No the tube is fine but unlike metal shafts that are welded on the ends the CF shaft is bonded by some sort of glue and I just spun it right out. My guess would be that the extra torque after the KB along with a new mid pipe that was pretty close to the bonded area up front was just not a good recipe.

I disagree, but I like my current aluminum DS just fine, so I wont argue.
