I got a 87 GT 5.0 and It hasn't been running as good as it should be. Seems to have a flat spot in around 3.5k. Also when I first start it up, the first minute it runs like crap.
I pulled the codes and here they are, These are with the KOEO.
Code 32 - This is for the EGR, which the previous owner pulled the smog pump and most of the egr components, I got a block off plate for the intake. So nothing to worry about there correct ?
Code 67 - Something to do with the neutral switch, Mine is manual and I am guessing got this b/c the clutch was not in or the car was in gear ?
Code 81 - Secondary Air Injection ? No idea on this one.
Also I have a few vacuum lines that are capped off by the Thermactor air diverter solenoid and the thermactor bypass thing. Am I fine to pull the vaccum source to them and block it off, it would be eaiser and less chance of vaccum leaks to have one source than to have to plug it after it splits into multiple, from what I understand they deal with emissions and since the last owner did away with that, why not make it simpler. Right ?
