Hey guys,

Finally pulled the codes, keep in mind that I have NO CATS since I sport an O\R H-pipe. I also got backfires like crazy when on decal.

I got no codes on KOER test but on KOEO I got these:

181 - Fuel system at rich adaptive limit at partial throttle / system lean.
189 - Fuel system at rich adaptive limit at partial throttle / system lean
327 - EGR valve position circuit below minimum voltage.
332 - Insufficient EGR flow detected

What the hell is the EGR and how can I fix those damn codes ? :bang:

Thanks for the help!

Cant help with fuel issues...but the egr valve is on the passenger side attached to the intake. there should be a tube going from the pass. side exhaust manifold to a rusty thing (well mine was covered in rust so I dunno what color its supposed to be) attached to the intake. Thats the Exhaust Gas Recirculation Valve....hence the name. Anyways the last two codes are saying your egr valve isnt opening enough, and consequently there is a lack of egr flow. You can try removing it and cleaning it and cheching the actuation of the valve...hopefully that will work. If not you will have to get a new one. There about $50 if I remember correctly......Try rockauto.com they have great prices.

Thanks dude i'll check it out!

Anyone has other inputs ?

Oh and have you checked the fuel pressure...about the lean issue. Could be something as simple as a clogged fuel filter, or a bad FP regulator. Check system pressure. With the car running and vac. hose disconnected from the regulator the fp should be 32-38psi on the stock regulator. with the hose attached it should be something less than that (varies with engine vaccum). YOu can rent a fp gauge from the autoparts store and theres a service port on the passenger side fuel rail that you can attach it to. I believe it has a black plastic cover on it. Either way its a schrader valve similar to an air valve in your wheel but larger. Good luck...let us know what you find.
