pulley resource?

I have a 66 couple and am about to put a 1985 302 in it. I found a balancer that will allow me to use the 1966 3 bolt pulley set up but now I can't find a place to get pulleys. I am adding an Old Air a/c unit too so I need a 2-v pulley. I hate to spend $200 plus on a March set but is that my only option?

Measure both the balancers from the inside rear that sits against the timing gear and see if the distance to the pulley flange is the same. If so, just drill the pulley to fit the 4 bolt balancer. One bolt is already done, you just need to drill the other three. Not hard to do. I've done one.

found it!

I actually found a similar question on the forum about 7 pages deep when I did a search on this topic. Ford and Summit and some others make a 50 oz balancer with both 3 bolt and 4 bolt patterns on them. They also have 3 sets of timing marks so they balancer will match the molded in timing pointer. I just took back my the new balancer I had aready bought and ordered one from Summit at http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=SUM-163302&N=700+115&autoview=sku

Thanks for the help:nice:

I have also done this. It works just fine unless you use for race situations.
Just simply check occasionally for possible cracks.
