Pulleys with Stock motor

Will not using the alternator pulley prevent that?
Yes, it will, but you'll have to buy a slightly shorter belt if you do. Using a 4-cyl Mustang alternator pulley is a good alternative. It kind of falls between the large one supplied in the kit and the small stock one and allows you to keep your stock belt. :nice:

On a side note.....although the pulleys did make my guage drop, I never once ended up with a dead battery. I’ve also got power everything, a booming stereo system and electric fan on my car and have no problems with charging or cooling. You guys with the factory 130A alternator have it better still. Us fox guys used to have to put up with a crappy 75A unit. :(
