what pulleys do you guys recommend for my 00 GT? keep in mind im not trying to break the bank, and a wire diagram for a shift light install would be nice too! :SNSign:

I recommend the stock pullies. Underdrive pullies are not worth the risk and hassle to install

I like my u/d pulleys.. but i didnt put them on, they were on there when i got it.. except the alternator pulley, which the previous owner gave me (because he's a nice guy like that )

that wasn't too bad, just took an impact

Steeda's are expensive, but they are the safest and the only ones I would recommend. I like mine and no issues if installed correctly.

I haven't had any problems with them, no charging issues or anything

I have the Steeda u/d pulleys. After the install there was no noticable performance gain, but also no charging, light dimming, or AC issues. If you can get a set for cheap, go for it, otherwise - meh?

Steeda's are the one & only...no problems..priced OK.
I'm using a Raptor shift light. The instructions are on their website.

i got some steeda's too but ASP are identical to the steeda's i did feel a nice gain through the rpm band but not much of a gain in peak oh and on your shift light that raptor website gives you details on intalling the website was posted above

my reason for putting on the UD/P would be that i do alot of high way driving and have the 3:73's. at 75 mph i'm at 2400 rpm's and i think that the UD/P would help out the ac system. so with steeda's no charging issue's? mine is automatic 2000 GT.

I've heard they were pretty tough to install...sometimes the stock pulleys are bolted on really tight?

It's not really bad, the only one that's on there with a lot of force is the crankshaft pulley, but that's only one bolt and it's not even that hard to break lose. However, you need an impact wrench for the alternator.

By the way, I'm tired of people who have Steeda udp's saying that they're the only safe way to go. There are thousands of people with March (What I have), ASP, BBK and others who've had no problems.

As long as you dont forget to put the washer back on the harmonic balancer and have the pulley fall of the crank while doing 50 on an onramp (like I did, boy did I feel like a retard) then you're fine.
