I got my old 89 stuck in a muddy field (see avatar) and we just hooked a strap to the rad support and pulled it out with my buddies truck. he he, granted i was 18 and a dumbass but besides that. When I tow my 88 to and from the shop I pull it onto the wrecker with hooks that go into the slots in the torque boxes and then strap another around the front control arm and sinch it down with the winch. I would never pull someone of a ditch with my mustangs, ever.
