Purchasing Motive 3.90 gears??

Hello I am about to purchase gears for my 02 Gt. I was steering towards the motive 3.90 gears. Can you give me some input if this is a wise choice or not. I am probably going to just have basic bolt ons. Like headers, h-pipe and 2 chamber flows. Cold air intake also. Next year I plan to get a Pro-charger. But I have to get gears now the stock one's suck. Your input would be appreciated.
I had 3.73 in my 89 supercharged 5.0 and I heard that the 3.90's were I nice compromise without going 4.10.

From what I understand, the gears themselves are a good choice. If you are not istalling them yourself, you might have a problem finding an installer due to them not being a Ford made gear. Ford uses the master housing dimension when setting up gears at the factory and that dimension can only be obtained with Ford gears. When installing aftermarket Ford gears you have less problems with the set up. So, if you have a good installer a non ford gear will probably not matter. But, with someone that has not done many 8.8 rear ends you take the chance of gear wine and doing the install twice.
