I am really getting sick of putting any more questions out there, but I can't find the answers via search anywhere and it's just takin too much time, so I came to the bank of knowledge.....

Im putting in a b cam next weekend and replacing my stock heads with ported e7s with trickflow springs, 3 angle valve job, and 1.7rrs.

So I know I gotta purchase a gear puller or something for timing chain or something, and I gotta get some assembly lube. Any idea where I can get these or have a summit part #?

Also can I maintain the same pushrods and lifters or do I have to get new, or should I while I have things torn down?

How about the timing chain? Should I get new for that as well?

Any part numbers would be fantastic!!!! Oh and does this look like a good gasket set for the timing cover and water pump http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=FEL-TCS45449&autoview=sku

How many miles on the motor? I am always a proponent of new lifters when you open up the top end. If the timing chain has any slack in it replace it. While you have the thing apart, if money isn't a deciding factor in what you do or don't do, replace timing set and lifters and you may need new pushrods in/when you measure them. You may be able to get away with the stockers, but be prepared for that.

120,000 and how do I measure pushrod length and check all that stuff? Anyone have a link to read up on it?

its very easy to check p.r. length , just buy a adjustable p.r. i got mine from summit its a trickflow brand name. then install it as if it were a regular p.r. then either loosen it or tighten it while looking at the clearance of the rocker arm to the valve spring. i had to go .5'' over stock on my new setup with anderson cam but i used my stock p.r. with my old combo stock5.0,heads,gt40, e cam

Should at least get you a start.
Also the search function is very helpful. Search for pushrod length.

I would replace lifters, timing chain, and gears while you are there.

with that many miles and a new cam going in, I would STRONGLY advise putting in new lifters...

Any advise on which parts or what kind of lifters or timing chain and gears to get? I'm a frequent summit buyer so any part numbers or links?
