Put more 275's on a 65 coupe.

i was wondering if you could take a picture of the inside of the car with the rear seats and quarter out? if it's too much trouble nevermind i'm sure i can figure it out, but i'm a very visual learner and THIS IS something i'll buy a new pair of rear tt2's from your site for lol!!putting 275's on my car will be a blessing... i can almost fit 15x10" wheels with 295's on and this will help out...

mdjay I know this thread is about the 65-66 mustangs but will you gain the same increase in tire space when using the "poor mans mini tub" on a 1967 mustang? I would like to run as wide a rim as possible in the rear of my mustang. Thanks!

The 67-68 simply has more room initially but of course you could gain more room. The 67-68 is much closer to matching the leaf spring so the movement needed would be minimal. If you remove the leaf and go to some form of coilover, then you could take better advantage.

This method is not for everyone as it's pretty crude, but it's effective. It takes minimal effort and is truly only noticable from looking straight under the car between the frame and the wheelhouse.
