Got a question. I have completely rebuilt this carb and it's my first.
The pin that holds the float has a little wire bracket that slips over the grooves in the pins. Here are my questions:

The little tab on back of the float currently rest on that little bracket. Should it be that way ? Also the springs that slid on that pin, which way are they suppose to be installed. They weren't on the carb prior to the rebuild.

my springs are set so that the longer of the two wires on the spring, is up against the the wall of the carb. Hope that helps. I just glanced at the 4100 I have sitting to be rebuilt. I don't know if that's correct or not.

Is it the 4100 that is the 1.08? I just got one for free and it needs a rebuild, so I need to find a rebuild kit for it.

That guy on ebay has a nice kit. I purchased it and pretty pleased. I haven't put it in yet. It doesn't come with the springs mentioned above.

The only complaint is that he charges 11.00 for shipping. That's ridiculously high. It comes in a first class envelope so he's pocketing the rest. At least have the decency to send it priority mail.
