OK,

Does anyone have a list of how to skim the fat off a pony?

Example- rear seat delete - 100lbs?
Tubular Front end - 80 lbs?

If we can get a good list, I will compile it and submit it for a sticky or article.

Thanks.

I dont have a list, but is your car a DD? I know many people around here who striped thier car of many things (such as sound deadening, rear seat), and after awhile they put most back in, as road noise/other annoyances arose. Just some food for thought.

If it is a DD the only weight reduction i would do is spare, jack, everything out of trunk, RSD, and tubular K-member. You can remove amps and stuff and replace all with a generic stereo. For a DD anything else will get annoying.

Yes, an every-other DD.
I hear what you are saying about removing too much stuff. I was thinking rear seat, tubular K-member, swap out front seats for some aftermarkets, etc.
