1 of my slicks that I have has a non repairable slice in the side, Ive been told by someone that if I put a tube in it, it should be fine, but others tell me its a bad idea. What do you guys think, and how much do tubes cost?
Structural integrity of the tire is shot. Sure the tube will get it to hold air, but when you really get on it and that thing starts to flex it just might decide to peel off the rim like a banana and cause a lot of damage coming off. Go get another tire is my advice.
