PVC Setup

I know that there has been lot's of arguments about pvc setups. I have looked at the sticky and became really confused the more that i looked at it. I have 93 lx that i have twin turbo charged and now I am having problems blowing the valve and screen out when i get on the boost. I'm only running 6 pounds. So i talked to my mechanic and he suggested to unhook the tube that runs from the throttle body to the right valve cover. I then bought a small filter and used a bigger hose and mounted the filter and hooked it up to the valve cover to let the engine breathe. I didn't touch the anything in the back of the engine so the pcv valve still goes into the manifold. Thanks for all of the help in advance

Is everything that I did ok I don't want to ruin anything? Because I am allowing unmetered air in the engine and some people say that this is wrong.

I would either use a forced-induction PCV-valve and try to keep things in stock form, or just remove the PCV and go with a couple of breathers.

seen lots of guys using PCV out of a Super Coupe along with the breathers

If you still have problems, you mightneed to upgrade to an oil seperator in the line between the PCV and the manifold

ditch the pcv and the hose between the valve cover/throttle body.
Both of these hoses are allowing boost from the turbo into the crankcase

Breathers are probably the best bet for you.
1 on each valve cover...

Ok thanks for the advice, I think that I will eliminate the pvc and put another breather on. Thanks Guys
