Pypes Catback SOUNDCLIP Coming

ok guys i have been real hectic with school,work, and getting parts together to fix my stolen and recovered civic...

but i did finish putting the pypes on!!!!
and ... its ok, it sounds kinda of like ssp's magnaflows kinda of quiet and then pow nascar growl....i think pypes and magnaflow are kind of like the mac to flowmaster debate...

im keeping my eye out for some cheap flow masters and/or bassani's though.....

will have a low quality clip soon, not even sure if its worth posting.....cause its going to be from a cell phone, but i know there ae only like 2 pypes soundclip in the netire WWW. so give me till tomorrow or so....

h pipe will give you a deep rumble or the traditional muscle car sound, x pipe is raspy kinda like nascar cars

From what i've heard, i don't think i like'em but i'm waiting to hear them in person. In my opinion, a video either makes or breaks an exhaust setup. I've heard video of cars that make them sound like garbage when they sound great in person, and i've seen a LOT of video where it sounds awesome but sucks really bad in person, and REALLY bad while in the car driving.

im thinking some flow 40s will be better with the x, but with the pipes it sounds like a bad arse v6 at idle,
and when you punch it its mean but i have a anooying backfire!!!!!!!!!!
im sorrry but i don think i should make a video its going to be so low qulity that the recorder will just muffle out!

to be honest my car sounds identical to this video,except you cant hear the quiet deep rumble when he is backing up......(its there)
bujt see how he puches it it growls but not to my liking i cant decide if the h pipe or 40's will get me were i want to be...pypes is close just not it

i don't recommend the pypes but for a stainless cat back cant beat the price.........
i think im going to change out for some flows and be done with it....
anyone want to trade for some barely even tested pypes muffler lol....pm me

Holy cow, that clip sounds terrible....i hope you were only loosly comparing that to mine


The only thing i would change about the Magnaflows is the idle sound...they could be a little more pronounced at an idle.

i took the chance and since ther are no other pypes people except me franken and the giy who made that youtube video. i had to do it.. flowmasters are a dime a dozen but now you know why...

ryan, i wouldnt go with anything you havent heard......i want bassani so we'll se what i en up doing, but flows/mac sound really similar to bassani anyways.....but pypes is in a whole new realm....

I had flows on my car then I went with a full bassani exhaust and they are completely different sounding. BASSANI FTW

I have bbk shorties, bassani xpipe, and the pypes violator catback and I think it sounds amazing IMHO...

i will try to get a crappy clip(you have been warned today) after i go on the bike trail, install a alarm on the civic and fix the door lock cyclinder........

Hell i've got probably 5 different setups i can contribute to the sticky.

For me the only other muffler i'm even considering are Spintech and that's only if i can get a deal on'em. I'm about as close to being "done" with my exhaust as i've ever been. All i really want are MAC style tail pipes to replace the ugly as sin Magnaflow pipes.
