pypes long tube headers

hi i have an 02 gt and i was wondering if i got pypes long tubes a bbk or slp x-pipe would fit on it and if anyone knows if pypes headers are harder to install than other brands?

Not sure on how they fit. I think I remember reading some posts about them on here. Try a search and see what you find. Also, as far as the x-pipe....I would assume pypes would have one that would fit for sure, but I bet you could ask them if any others fit as I am sure they would know?

kk thx. the reason i was wondering was because i saw a post somewhere don't remember saying that the headers touch the steering shaft. and the reason i was wanting to use the slp pipe was because i thought they they came so u could change out a piece and go from catless to catted with just changed one section i may be wrong. right now i have the bbk o/r x and im gonna have to put my stock one back on for emissions testing

I think there are several different long tubes that touch the steershaft. Most people just make a minor dent in the header so it clears fine then. As far as a mid pipe, just get a catted one. My last two cars had catted pid pipes and I always got commens on how my exhaust sounds
