Pypes muffler clearance help (07 GT)

Hi,

I just installed the Pypes mid muffler system and I love the sound. But, the passenger side muffler is only a little more than 1/8 of an inch away from the gas tank. I've tried adjusting and that's the most I can get. The driver side is ok.

Will that amount of clearance be enough?

To me , no thats too close and could cause a problem.
A good exhaust shop should be able to correct that.
Kind of hard to do on your back on the driveway.
On a rack they can see what to do to adjust the space.

Yeah it sounds like they might have to cut some pipe and put a new angle in there or something along those lines. That sucks but surely a little muffler shop could hook you up for cheap.

Did everything come out OK ...i've thought alot @ that with my car.
