Isn't the pyrometer for measuring exhaust temps?

You are looking for the A/F ratio package, not pyrometer.

the pyrometer measures the exhaust gas temps on the manifolds. alot of the 4 cylinder turbocharged honda and dsm guys use them. judging by how hot the temp reads, it will tell them if its running lean or rich. ive owned a turbo dsm before, but never had the gauge. the wide band A/F gauge is alot better

They do seem to be popular on the imports. We had one on the turbo car I had a chance to build/tune.

I would love to get one to experiment with in tuning if someone wants to donate.
