DOES ANYBODY HAVE QA1 CAMBER ADJUSTER INSTALLED ON STOCK STRUTS? I NEED TO INSTALL THEM ASAP BUT THE INSTRUCTIONS SAY THEY WILL ONLY WORK WITH QA1 STRUTS. THIS MAY BE A PLOY TO GET ME TO BUY NEW STRUTS. ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED
just in case if any one is even wondering i called qa1 and talked to the tech dept. and they said that these camber adjusters would work on any strut that you may have. this is a chance i took that worked out good for me. i hope other people can learn from this because they were a good price.
scratch the last post . the guy i talked to at qa1 must of been an idiot. i tried to do the install and guess what they would not work. so i called qa1 back and the next tech guy i talked to said that they only work on qa1 struts. so now i am in a dilema. due i return the camber adjuster for another brand. (the cheap way) or do i bite the bullet and just buy the struts, the company i bought them from said they would give a good deal on the struts.
with the QA1 stuts, you also ned the coil over springs. you will be looking at a large sum of money to make these work on your car. why not just return them, and get the J&M camber adjusters? if you want a good adjustable shock to pair them to, J&M also sells TOKICO D-SPECs for the lowest price i have seen on the net.
i looked at another site that has the QA1 parts, and you are looking at $500 just for the front struts. you can get all 4 D-SPECS for about the same.
i have had the J&M camber plates for well over a year with zero problems. in fact, i have had all the J&M suspension parts with zero problems. check out my signature to see all the parts i have from J&M. i highly recommend the parts and the service J&M offers.
take a look at the link i provided and decide for yourself what you want to do.
