Question about a V8 Conversion

I have done a search and it came up with nothing i am looking for. i just got a Very cherry black V6 vert and the HG blew and i have a 5.0 engine with a carb. how hard and what do i have to do to put it in there? is the T5 in it compatible meaning bolt right up(cause i heard it is the exact same trans as the 5.0 of that year). What do i have to do to change it over? Is the Mounts the same? and since it is going to be carb'd i don't have to worry about none of the electronics. My 93 Vert Gt i did the carb conversion and i know how to wire it. so i just need info on changing the V6 to V8 Thanks in advance

You'll need a crossmember from a 94 or 95 gt, rearend from a gt, other than that, I'm sure you could figure it out....

Take the check engine bulb out of the dash. If you're gonna run carbureted, the sensors will be throwing codes left and right..........easiest swap is to drop in a carbed 302 with a 94-95 k member, dat's it

Indeed. Carbs are a hell of a lot easier to swap in than an FI.

As far as I know, the V6 T5 isn't as stout as the V8 T5 so it won't last long under alot of abuse. It would probably be fine for granny driving.
