Yes or no? (Sportlines already in) Installing Steeda LCA, Ford Racing UCA, Steeda full length subframes, and KYB adjustables this weekend. Should I take the quad shocks off, replace them, or leave them alone. Thanks.

The "Kicker" shocks that are horizontal and not vertical. They point towards front of car and are there to help prevent wheel hop, and axle wrap. Been there since mid 80's. Usually when you throw on boxed control arms with your springs and shocks you can remove 'em. But if you get wheel hop put 'em back on.

It wont hurt anything, but when I took mine off my 91, the ass end hopped like it was on a trampoline. Wheel-hop made me put mine back on.

once you update the suspesion you could try it. the only real advantage I see is wieght reduction unless I am stupid.

the reality is they are all about axel wrap. if you are not getting it why replace them? waste of money. if you pull them off and don't have it then you don't need them. so leave them off it is just extra wieght with no function.

I just left mine on more out of laziness than anything.

the one with the red bushings, they aid in wheel hop but if you have a good enough LCA you don't really need them
