Quality sub-1.5" lowering spring and shock combo?

i did some searches and found some general info, but not directly what im looking for.

im looking to avoid going over 1.5" drop for practicality driving everyday, suspension geometry, and not having to purchase c/c plates.

i want an even drop, no raked look. im thinking of going with mach 1 struts/shocks and unknown springs right now.

does anyone have a similar combo? what springs? how is it for daily driving? i dont want the car to ride like crap, but i dont expect a cadilac either. with stock suspension now it feels very smooth to me from my last car. id like to keep a similar road feeling.

Is see these questions alot and if you are on a budget I think I would buy the tokico hp kit. shocks, struts, springs all designed for each other. should not need CC plates. throw some rear control arms and subframe on and you would have a decent handling car for a fairly economical price.

suspention is about balance. buy parts that work together don't just buy parts. shocks and struts are made a certian lenght for a reason don't just mix and match shocks and springs. it will either a. not handle as well as it could or B the shocks and struts will fail prematurely.

To tell you the truth if you dont want to go more than a 1.5 inch drop dont bother wasting your money on lowering the car atall........ I droped my car 2 inches and its perfect and its still to a bit high. After the 2 inch drop I still have a decent wheel gap between the fender. it also rides almost the same as stock without aftermarkit shocks/struts. I heard people on here saying 2 inches is too much, so i put off putting the sprigs in... that was the biggiest mastake listining because I wish I did it a long time ago and I love the way it looks and preforms.

You have a much greater tendancy to understeer now, but that's something you may only feel if you really push it. And emergency situations.

Shock/strut combo is the best way to go.

eibach pro kit seems to be an even drop of about 1.4" - 1.5" on all 4 corners. most cars i've seen with it are not raked (unless they cut the front springs or remove the front isolators) not too stiff and wont bottom out on anything.

i did see that kit on ebay for 400? shipped i think it was for everything. i had never heard of anyone using the springs from tokico though.

its not necessarly a budget issue, i will pay the money for quality parts. i dont want to halfass anything, i know exactly how i want to keep it and what i want to avoid. learned some lessons with my fox about practicality. its also strictly a street driven car, never autocrossed, or driven hard. with that said, i just want better appearance without sacraficing too much daily driver comfort. my last car in the end, really turned out how i didnt want it for daily driving.

eibach/tokico kit seem to be good options, what about h&r springs? that is the other popular spring i see people running.

Im really happy with my bullitt setup. I had sportlines before
