hey would just like to know whos around the area... i live in bayside which is near the queens/nassau border and im desperately looking to find people that will show me different aftermarket exhaust combinations in person :P

ive got a '92 GT hatch thats completely stock performance-wise but not for long :) although the extent of my modifying will probably be bolt ons i still love just reading about anything 5.0 related haha

well this is my first "post" although i had an account that has been 'lost from march' :bang: and have been simply reading for a month..

hey i was also wondering about my soon-to-be exhaust setup.

with a bassani xpipe and a magnaflow catback:
first of all, does the magnaflow catback include the cats? i thought the cats were on end of the midpipe?? ahha it just sounds like a funny question but i cant find the answer... im such a newb

more questions to come after i get an answer to this one :)

The cat back is just that, it goes from the cats (mid pipe) back, it does not include cats. Im pretty sure you can get a x-pipe w/ cats, i never use cats so im not positive.

ya matt i tried addin ya to my aim bud list but ya never come on. im in fresh meadows alot... a few hunnies over there, taco bell, st francis prep friends, odium cineplex, etc... :)

5.0 traditional sound-

hey man,

If ya want the 5.0 traditional sound, go for this set up-

1 5/8 BBK shorties
2 1/2 Heddmann Off-road H-Pipe
Flowmaster 40 series Amer. thunder.
3 inch piping Up & over rear wheels back
3 1/2 inch Chrome tips

Thats my set up, Its that 5.0 traditional sound, some like it, some dont-Its whatever you like. having 4.10's amplifies the note! ;) :flag:

But as far as exhaust I have mac long tubes, mac prochamber, mac dumps and it is loud.
