Question about 16in tire sizes?

does anybody make a DR that is lets say 315/xx/16? I am tossing the idea of getting 17x10.5 rims or having my stock 16 opened up to 10.5 and putting a 315 ish DR on that. The cost would be almost the same (if I go AFS of ebay) so it will be one of the two and tire avialability would be the factor.

No one makes such a size, the largest 16" size is the 245 I believe, BFG "may" have a 255 but I can't remember. Check both of their websites to see for sure.

well I run a 245 now so I guess I am going to get new rims instead.

I believe Michey Thompson's new drag radial line has a 255/50/16 available. Its the same size overall as a 26x10.5x16 ET Street.

They are more a strip only tire though even though they are DOT approved. They will not last long at all on the street.
